The other night while sitting on the front porch watching and listening to the storm roll though the area. It brought a calmness to one's soul.
As I sat there watching the wind whip around and the way it made the rain hit the trees, flowers, and the many other things that God has created, I couldn't help compare the wind and rain with the trials in one's life.
How the trees and flowers survive through that wind/rain storm as we survive through the disappointments/struggles we have in life.
One struggle after another and yet people continue to bounce back. How many struggles would it take for a strong person to break. How much wind and rain would it take to end the life of a tree or destroy a garden of beautiful flowers. Which do you think would be stronger? Maybe depends on were you are with being content with life, having a strong faith in the Lord and knowing that he will continue to help you be a strong person and help you get through the trials of life. Bet he is helping nature through their trails as he would be there for us. All we have to do is ask.
